Become an OAYO Ambassador

There are a variety of ways to support the Omaha Area Youth Orchestras such as  participating as a patron, volunteering at events, joining the Friends of Youth Musicians or even joining OAYO's Board of Directors. If you are interested in getting involved in the organization, contact us today!  However, you decide to participate, we look forward to working with you!

Volunteer

Do you have a special skill? Have you considered helping OAYO staff and parents throughout the season backstage. If you are interested in helping out at ensemble rehearsals or OAYO concerts, please note, volunteers working with youth will be required to complete a background check. If you are interested in getting involved, take a moment to provide input on OAYO's Ambassador Form.

Join OAYO's Friends of Youth Musicians

OAYO is passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth musicians. The Friends of Youth Musicians support, via service or financially, youth instrumentalists who are involved in ensemble-based performances. There are two levels of membership in the Friends of Youth Musicians: (1) active member and (2) sustaining member. Active members do not pay membership dues but are expected to attend a monthly membership meeting and volunteer for a role on OAYO's fund development committee. Sustaining members pay $100 annual membership dues but do not have service requirements. Both membership levels are invited to attend OAYO concerts at no charge, however, fund development programming is only free to volunteers working that specific event. If you are considering joining OAYO's Friends of Youth Musicians, visit our facebook group for more information or make a donation today!
